Garlach is a town with a gas station, hotel and bar. The bar and hotel belong to Bruno. First thing I did was tried to air up at the station. The plugs wouldn’t hold. I knew I wouldn’t make it to Reno, about 120 miles to the south and the closest place to get a new tire. I called Ronnie in Silver springs and he offered to pick me up with his pick-up truck. I was so tired and hot at this point I decided to get a room and have Ronnie come up first thing in the morning.

The next morning Ronnie showed up with his truck, another hero in my book (Ronnie not the truck.)
We got some help from some other people standing around and loaded the bike up into the truck.
Ronnie drove me into Reno and in no time I had a new tire. Hung out the rest of the day and had dinner with Claudine and Ronnie. Great people. That evening I shot over Hwy 80 and arrived home about 9pm.
